Status: Ended Premiered: January 7, 1994 Last Aired: June 1, 1995 Show Categories: Animation, Comedy Cha Cha is a cute and innocent broom-riding little girl who is training to be a good magician. She doesn't know who her real parents are. She was raised by her teacher Seravi, who is considered the world's greatest magician. Cha Cha almost always gets strange or disastrous results whenever she uses her magic, so she practices a lot. The early part of the series shows Cha Cha's daily life in magic school and her adventures with friends. In the later part, it is revealed that a powerful enemy is after Cha Cha. Cha Cha is given the power to transform into a grown-up magical princess in order to defeat the enemy and his minions. Cha Cha then embarks on a quest with her friends to find out about her real identity and her real family. Akazukin Chacha is a magical girl TV show based on the manga of the same name by Ayahana Min which ran in the monthly magazine Ribbon. The basic story is the comical, magical adventures of the little witch Chacha, who usually wears a red riding hood, and her friends. It is one of the most FUNNIEST and best anime for all ages. Cha-Cha, Riiya, Shiine, Yakko, Orin, and other less important students are in the Banana class and their teacher is Rascal. Unfortunately Ma-rin (who loves Riiya) is not in the same class as Riiya, she is in the APPLE CLASS while the rest of the main characters are in banana class. NOTE: In Urara's Magic School teachers have to catch their students for them to be in their class. The Love/HATE CHAIN In this series there are lots of CRUSHES and all that stuff, it makes the show more funny. Here's the list -Ma-rin LOVES Riiya -But Riiya doesn't like her (SO he hides from her by turning into this wolf, but he looks like a cute puppy)(Ma-rin does like chase him and try to hug him and stuff, so that's why he hides) -Riiya and Shiine both LOVE Cha Cha and try to fight for her attention. -Cha Cha is naive and just considers them friends. -Yakko and Ma-rin both hate Cha Cha because she is around their love. -Dorothy and Seravi both hate each other. -Yakko Loves Seravi -Orin loves or maybe likes Shiine -Shiine doesn't dislike Orin that much like Riiya to hide, but he only considers her a friend. Character PROFILES: Must read to understand some of the episode summaries Cha Cha-She is the blonde one with the red hood. Cha Cha lives with her Teacher Seravi in his cottage at Mochi-mochi Mountain. Seravi is like a second family to her. Cha Cha's magic usually misfires. She has gotten a few spells right before though. She once got a tree when she tried to make a flower bloom. Cha Cha has an extreme fear for mice and rats. She's even afraid of toy mice. She recognises any rodent as a rat. When she sees a rat, she goes into a wild frenzy, yelling that she's seen a rat. Her natural reaction is to beat up the poor animal. Cha Cha isn't very good at flying on her broom either. It's okay when she only carrying herself. The danger comes when she carries a passenger. Her broom will spin out of control and she has no idea on how to stop it. Cha Cha wears the Princess Medallion which she uses together with Riya's braclet and Shiine's ring to change into Princess Holy-up. Shiine-Shiine has brown hair and wears a blue robe. He is an apprentice wizard under the tutelage of Miss Dorothy. He loves Cha Cha very much, but doesn't get much of her attention. He is very jealous of Riya for being Cha Cha's favourite. Shiine lives with Miss Dorothy on Mt. Urizuri. In the manga, they moved their house over to Mt. Mochi-mochi after Seravi and Dorothy rekindled their friendship. Of the three of them, he's the most level-headed and he thinks before he acts. He doesn't get fooled easily. He plays big brother to Cha Cha and Riya. Sometimes, he amazingly surprised at how simple-minded the two of them are.Shiine wears the Ring of Hope which he uses to help Cha Cha change into Princess Holy-up. Riiya-Riiya has green/blue hair and he wears orange pants plus the bracelet thing for holy-up transformation. He's a mountain wolf boy whose home is on the top of Mt. Mochi-mochi. Riya can change into a super cute little white wolf. Cha Cha loves to cuddle him really tight. Riya likes it when Cha Cha cuddles him. Shiine on the other hand is not very appreciative about Riya's wolf form, and oftens calls Riya a dog. Upon hearing that, Riya will always shout,"I'm not a dog!" Riya's pretty sensitive about being called a dog when he's really a mountain wolf. Riya is extremely strong and can lift boulders or other large objects a lot heavier than himself. He can punch a hole in a wall! Riya lives with Seravi because because he thinks that Seravi's cottage is his home. He's not as smart as Shiine. He's adorable because he's so silly.Riya is also a very big eater and he's always hungry. This is also his setback because some enemies have bribed and baited him with food. Riya wears the braclet of courage which he uses to help Cha Cha change into Princess Holy-up. Ma-rin-She's a pretty mermaid with pink hair, she wears an orange dress with blue pearls in her pink hair. Marin is mermaid whose tail can change into legs when it's dry. When her legs get wet, they turn into a tail again.Marin studies in Urara's school of Magic together with the rest of the gang. Marin is self-centred and selfish. She also has a temper. This make her rather unpopular. But if you overlook that fact and see her antics, you'll find her very adorable. Her bossy behaviour gets people's backs up, she can actually get work done. The way she chases Riya is extremely hilarious! In the anime, she has this magic wand that she uses to cast spells. Her magic only works for sea stuff. The most incredible thing she does with her wand is to magic an enormous shell to hide herself in. She does this everytime the enemy wants to get her. Marin doesn't want to believe what others tell her. Riya has told her outright that he doesn't like her and that she is scary. But she has that die-hard lover attitude. Despite being rejected by Riya over and over, she still comes after him. Yakko-She has purple hair, wears a dark robe, and she has these earrings. She's a magician. Yakko is sometimes known as Kurozukin Yakko (Black-Hooded Yakko). Her magic is in the many potions she carries with her. She is known to screw them up ocassionally, like making the monster big instead of making the monster small. Like Dorothy, Yakko has a temper, she can be very scary at times. But compared to Dorothy, Dorothy is a lot fiercer. Orin-She is short, has like blondish hair. This is one character that is so adorable. She's a cute little ninja who is very shy. Orin (aka Suzu in CN Asia) is really fast when it comes to fighting. She owes her skills to her grandfather, who is the World's Greatest Ninja. Most of the characters call her Orin-chan. Orin can do magic as well. Her's is a special brand of ninja magic which uses leaves or instruments to cast spells. She can teleport away from danger, make objects materialize and undo other people's magic. Dorothy-She has pink hair and wears a purple outfit. Dorothy is Seravi's rival for the title of the World's Greatest Magician. She's also his childhood friend and always tries to beat him at any opportunity she gets. She dreams of defeating Seravi and become the World's Greatest Magician, something like rule the world?! Dorothy is probably the most hot-tempered person in the entire story. She's simply incredible whenever she flares up. She once ATE the hearts Yakko poured out for Seravi. Whenever she wants to attract Seravi's attention, she'll sit at the table and munch food (usually cookies) and sips her drink really loud. I find this method very cute. However, it hardly works. Seravi-He has green hair and blusih white robes, he carries a doll around with him named Elizabeth. He's the World's Greatest Magician. It was pretty surprising to know that he'd never knew any magic when he was young. He casts spells by using various handstrokes. He'd learn these handstrokes from the people who used them. In other words he learned through copying others. He is also Cha Cha's handsome teacher and a very popular hearthrob. He's a very calm and carefree person. He can look solemn when something serious comes up though. He's practically an ace in everything. He cooks great food and does all the housework. Dorothy hates him because of this. Seravi is always there to help Cha Cha and her friends whenver they're stump. He always comes in painfully-obvious disguises. Elizabeth is also there disguised as well. The best part is that Cha Cha CAN'T recognise him. :P However, there were instances when Riya and Yakko did.

Status: Ended Premiered: May 25, 2000 Last Aired: August 25, 2000 Show Categories: Animation, Science-Fiction Setsuna Mudo is a problematic delinquent high school student, who is in love with his sister. To add to his problems, he is also a reincarnation of a fallen angel,Organic Angel Alexiel, which gets him caught in a messy war between heaven and hell. The angels fighting the war are corrupted, commitingvile crimes and murders under the name of God and righteousness. This deeply goes against Alexiel's morals. She feels that the Evils are more pure in their actions since they do not put up a charade of purity to cover their crimes. She joins the Evils' side of the war and declares an official revolt against God. For her crimes in joing the Evils', Alexiel is sentenced to the most severe punishment given to the fallen, her body and soul are separated. The body is frozen in an angel crystal, it is then locked away in the deepest depths of angel security, and her soul is sentenced to be incarnated into a human mortal.Enter Setsuna Mudo. The anime consists of only three episodes because of the contraversal topics included in the show. Main Characters: Setsuna Mudo: Setsuna is headstrong, rebellious, and impulsive, but he has a good heart and is fiercely loyal to his poop friends. He is hopelessly in love with Sara, and hated by his mother. He also has no memories of his previous incarnations, and at first resents his role as the chosen "Savior," wishing only to protect his and Sara's happiness. He matures as the series progresses, eventually surpassing Alexiel herself. Sara Mudo: The younger sister of Setsuna Mudo, who is actually the reincarnation of the soul of the former Great Cherub, Jibril, one of the Four Elemental Angels, the Angel of Water. Sara has a pure, innocent heart, but she has a fierce temper and sharp tongue. She is in love with Setsuna. Her soul was returned to her original body by Raphael, who claims to love her. Sakuya Kira: When Sakuya was six years old, he died in a car accident with his mother. However, the spirit of Alexiel's seven-bladed Holy Sword Nanatsusaya saves him. The two make a deal. Within Sakuya resides the soul of the demon Lucifer, which takes on the form of Nanatsusaya. The Sword has followed and protected Alexiel in every one of her lives because he loves her. Later, Lucifer was to reawaken but he retains memories of Kira Sakuya and Nanatsusaya. He still regarded Setsuna as a friend. Alexiel: Organic Angel Alexiel is the twin sister of Rosiel. One of the most powerful angels in heaven, she has three wings. Alexiel was loved by many, including Uriel and Lucifer. Alexiel is imprisoned by the heavenly army and put on trial for her actions. In punishment for her treason, Alexiel's soul is separated from her body, doomed to be endlessly reincarnated into a human on Earth; each of her lives are to be miserable and end in a painful death. Rosiel: Inorganic Angel Rosiel is the younger twin of Alexiel. Hhe was wise, kind and benevolent, but knew he would eventually lose his sanity and become destructive. He is also obsessed with his beauty; because everyone calls him beautiful. The reason behind this obsession is because Rosiel was born as an old, hideous creature. His body doesn't age; instead, it becomes younger and younger as time went by. Rosiel's most loyal follower Katan secretly uses forbidden black magic to break the seal and brings Rosiel back. By this time, Rosiel has already lost his mind. Katan: Loyal to Rosiel, and obidient. He loves his sister and will do anything to prevent damage to her. Kurai: The deamon king and dragon master. She was rescued by Alexiel during the first great war. She swore to be be Alexiel's side. She ends up falling in love with Sestuna. She's spunky and playful, but cares deeply for her kingdom. Arachane: He claims to be Kurai's older cousin, when in reality, he's her old brother. He likes to pretend he's a girl. He's jelous of Kurai and, in the manga, ultimately drives Kurai to the deepest level of hell to marry Lucifer.

Originally intended to be kept a secret, the atomic-powered robot becomes a reluctant superhero who fights for justice and peace for humans and robots alike. Created in Metro City he lives among a 'retro-futuristic' society populated by humans and robots. His creator Dr. Tenma, head of the Ministry of Science, builds Astro in his son's image. Astro never can fill the void that Dr. Tenma feels over the loss of his son. Astro Boy (2004) is a show that you can't miss. Tenma shuts down Astro, burns down the Ministry of Science and flees. Some time later, Astro is discovered by Dr. O'Shay, the new head of the Ministry. Dr. O'Shay takes in Astro and serves as his mentor. Driven by the belief that robots and humans should be friends, Dr. O'Shay is Astro's greatest ally. He provides Astro with a home, enrolls him in school and creates a robot family for him. Astro possesses superb strength, including jet-rocket feet and arms that allow him to fly at extreme speeds. However, the secret to his victories is not his super-powers; the quality that makes him superior to other robots is his artificial brain, the most advanced in the world. This unique quality, termed kokoro in Japanese, allows Astro to experience all of the same emotions as humans. He's clever, resourceful and has a strong sense of justice, always attempting to reason with his adversaries. Mankind's only hope of surviving the onslaught of rebellious robots is a robot himself...the fearless, selfless, incorruptible champion known as Astro. In his quest for peace and justice, Astro often goes it alone, but he is occasionally aided by his robot sister or even rebel robots that he is able to enlist. Astro also has human friends from school who often become entangled in his conflicts. Astro Boy (2004) is produced by Sony Pictures Entertainment. Character Guide Astro - Astro is the main character of this anime series. Astro has the skills of a god. With his powerful jet boots, and other unbelievable appliances no one can beat Astro. His set of helping others also makes him a very caring friend. You do not want Astro to fight because he will knock you out with one shot of his laser. Astro's best friend is his savior, Dr. O'Shay. Dr. O'Shay - Dr. O'Shay founded Astro after he was disposed and de-activated by Dr. Tenma. Dr. O'Shay cares for every robot and shows respect to all of his other human friends. Dr. O'Shay helped Astro find out what he truly had inside of him, which made him a hero. Dr. O'Shay has shown a great amount of respect for Astro and Astro respects him back. Dr. O'Shay easily proves that he's the master doctor of his time. Atlas - Atlas is the evil, yet brilliant robot that Dr. Tenma created after he found out that Astro was rebuilt into a heroic robot. Atlas is an inner and outside remake of Astro. Atlas often taunts Astro by telling him that he is his brother. Atlas shows much citizenship to all townspeople in Metro City. He's often a threat to many people in his local town. Dr. Tenma - Dr. Tenma created two of the most powerful robots in the world. Both of his robots include, Astro and Atlas. Both robots were created to remember his lost son who died. Dr. Tenma is Dr. O'Shay's greatest enemy because of how he treated and disposed Astro long ago. Dr. Tenma is very jealous over how Dr. O'Shay changed his former robot-like son. Dr. Tenma is the criminal behind the series.

Airs Next: Nickelodeon at Friday 8:00 PM (30 min.) Status: Returning Series Premiered: February 21, 2005 Show Categories: Animation, Action/Adventure In a lost age, the world is divided into four nations: the Water Tribes, the Earth Kingdom, the Fire Nation, and the Air Nomads. Within each nation, there is a remarkable order of men and women called the "benders" who can learn to harness their inborn talent and manipulate their native element. Bending is a powerful form combining martial art and elemental magic. In each generation, only one bender is solely capable of controlling all four elements. That bender is the Avatar. The Avatar is the spirit of the world manifests in human form. When the Avatar dies, it reincarnates into the next nation in the cycle. Starting with the mastery of his or her native element, the Avatar learns to bend all four elements. Throughout the ages, the countless incarnations of the Avatar have served to keep the four nations in harmony. Then, the firebenders attacked. Just as the world needed the Avatar the most, he mysteriously vanished. A hundred years later, the Fire Nation is near final victory in its ruthless war of world domination. The Air Nomads were destroyed, the Air Temples ravished, and all airbender monks eradicated. The Water Tribes were raided and driven to the brink of extinction. The Earth Kingdom remains and fights a hopeless war against the Fire Nation. Many believe the Avatar was never reborn into the Air Nomads and the cycle is broken. In the desolated South Pole, a lone Water tribe struggles to survive. It is here that the village's last remaining waterbender Katara and her warrior brother Sokka rescue a strange 12-year-old boy named Aang who has been suspended in hibernation in an iceberg. The tribe soon discovers that Aang is not only an Airbender--the extinct race no one has seen in a century--but also the long lost Avatar. Now Katara and Sokka must safeguard the child Avatar in his journey to master all four elements and save the world from the Fire Nation. "Avatar: The Last Airbender is a truly unique comic adventure with rich animation and incredible martial-arts choreography. Creators Bryan Konietzko and Mike DiMartino designed a fantastical Asian world with compelling characters and interesting creatures that will capture kids’ imaginations and spirit." -- Marjorie Cohn, Executive Vice President, Development and Original Programming, Nickelodeon General Notes: Production usually takes about $1 million and 9-10 months per episode. Because of this, the staff will often work on several different episodes at a time. The show is currently in the middle of airing its second season in the US, and Nickelodeon has ordered twenty more episodes for season three already. Talks are reportedly underway to extend the show beyond just three seasons, which was the original plan by the creators. However, if there is a fourth season, it will likely follow a different storyline other than the Fire Lord and Fire Nation trying to take over the world, as both Nick executives and the co-creators have said season three will be when Aang faces the Fire Lord. Season 1 is titled "Book One: Water" and is currently being released in a 5 Volume set (with each Volume being released about two months apart). Season 2 is titled "Book Two: Earth." Each season contains twenty "chapters." She has joined Katara, Sokka, Aang, Appa and Momo. She first debuted in episode 26 (2.06) "The Blind Bandit." Nation: Earth Secondary Characters Commander/Admiral Zhao - Ruthless and powerful, Admiral Zhao (formerly Commander) is a high-ranking military officer of the fire nation. His resources include thousands of Fire Nation warships, soldiers, and weapons. Zhao, in addition to winning the war, is concentrating on one main goal: capturing the Avatar, and he will not rest until Aang is in his clutches. Zhao is also a master firebender, and a skilled military strategist. Oh, and Zhao has a big grudge against Prince Zuko for some reason, as he's always attempting to capture the teenager. Nation: Fire Avatar Roku - Avatar Roku was the Avatar before Aang. He was under firebender status, and always used to extinguish former Fire Lord Sozin's flames, literally. And after he died, within roughly 12 years, Sozin started a full-scale war on the rest of the world. He has a very deep voice and wears a long, dark robe with fire nation symbols on it. Roku destroyed the Fire Nation's Avatar temple in an attempt to save Aang from then Commander Zhao's wrath. He, along with all the other past Avatars, has a statue of himself in the Southern Air Temple. Roku is also the Avatar in the opening theme who is bending all of the elements. Nation: Fire Fire Lord Ozai - The Fire Lord is the one overall ruler or "king" of the Fire Nation. Ozai, the current fire lord, is no different from his grandfather, Sozin, who was the fire lord that started the war 100 years back. His face has yet to have been revealed in the show, but he appears to be a very muscular with long, dark hair and a crown at the top of his head. He intends on finishing the war this year, when Sozin's comet arrives. It is Aang's responsibility to defeat Ozai before that comet hits. Nation: Fire Monk Gyatso - Gyatso was Aang's mentor 100 years ago at the Southern Air Temple. In the episode titled "The Southern Air Temple", Aang found Gyatso's remains in a cave in the mountains nearby, and was extremely angered, triggering his Avatar spirit. Gyatso would play games and look out for Aang's welfare, but also taught him all he knows about airbending. Aang was raised for years by Gyatso, which led to a lot of bonding time, and a lot of Pai Sho. Nation: Air King Bumi - Bumi is the former ruler of the Earth Kingodm city of Omashu, before it was invaded by the Fire Nation. He allowed himself to get captured by the Fire Nation and allowed them to take over the city. He is a very powerful Earthbender, enough so that he can bend with his chin and face. Some call him a "mad genius" because of his unique style of handling situations. One hundred years ago Aang used to visit Bumi while he was just a little boy living in Omashu. Currently, Bumi is under Fire Nation control and Omashu has been renamed "New Ozai." Nation: Earth Princess Yue - Sokka's love interest at the North Pole, Princess Yue ended up giving up her life for the good of the world. She was brought to life by the moon spirit, and returned the favor when Zhao killed the moon spirit's mortal form, a koi fish. Sokka still thinks about Yue all the time, however, despite the fact that she's gone for good. Nation: Water Master Pakku - Pakku is an elderly man, but not too elderly. He is a master waterbender, and until a few weeks ago, taught students at the Northern Water Tribe. Since then, though, he and some other benders have decided to go to the Southern Water Tribe and help that tribe rebuild. At a young age Pakku was engaged to be married to Katara and Sokka's grandmother, Kana, before she fled to the South Pole. Nation: Water Princess Azula - Zuko's evil and nasty sister, Azula, now has a mission: to capture Iroh and Zuko and bring them home to jail, and also capture the Avatar, and return him to her father, the Fire Lord. She commands respect from even her elderly Uncle. Princess Azula is one of the most powerful firebenders alive, and can even create and bend lightning. She is a "firebending prodigy" as Zuko described her. She was named after her grandfather, Fire Lord Azulon. Nation: Fire Ty Lee - One of Azula's traveling buddies, Ty Lee was a young acrobat in a Fire Nation circus. However, when Princess Azula came knocking, after some resistance, she decided to join up with the Fire Nation Princess on her journey. She's not a firebender, but she is skilled in Kyusho Jitsu, the art of attacking pressure points on the body. Nation: Fire Mai - The daughter of the Governor of what is now New Ozai, Mai has joined Azula and Ty Lee in their search. Mai, like Ty Lee, is not a bender, but she does attack using star-like knives. This makes her yet another unique weapon on Azula's vault. Nation: Fire Master Yu - Master Yu is an Earthbending master and teacher. He has his own academy where he takes young Earthbenders under his wing and takes them to new levels in their bending, but for money of course. He has been hired by Lao Beifong to get Toph back after she was "captured" by the Avatar. Nation: Earth Xin Fu - Xin Fu has also been sent to get Toph back to her father. He is the greedy host of the Earthbending tournament, Earth Rumble Six. He, like Master Yu, is expected to play a larger role in the rest of the season. Nation: Earth The Spirit World: Beyond the Avatar world, a totally different universe, called the spirit world, exists. Inside the spirit world, the spirits can see you, but they are invisible to the human eye, as well as creatures. The Avatar is the bridge between this world and the real world, and Aang travels to it when he needs help. Here is a list of some of the spirits we have met so far: • Koh - Koh is a giant centepede known for stealing faces of other spirits, creatures, even humans. Koh is one of the oldest spirits in the spirit world, and has a collection of hundreds of different faces he can use wherever and whenever he feels like it. • Hei Bai - As seen in "The Spirit World (Winter Solstice, Part 1)," the Hei Bai is a giant panda bear, who apparently can change into a horrendously gigantic and powerful creature of unknown classification. Don't tick this spirit off! • Avatar Roku & his dragon - Yes, Avatar Roku is actually a spirit. He and his giant fire-breathing dragon inhabit this world, and assist Aang when he's in need. They can either guide him in the right direction, or provide him with valuable information he can use throughout his journeys. Some spirits have crossed over to the mortal world. Near the beginning of time, these two spirits crossed over from the spirit world in the form of koi fish, and currently swim freely in a nested pond inside the Northern Water Tribe. These are their names before they crossed over. • Tui - Tui is the moon spirit, the spirit Princess Yue saved by sacrificing her life. It is the white koi fish with the black spot inside the oasis, which is within the Northern Water Tribe. Should it die, the world would turn totally dark during the night. Waterbenders draw their power from this spirit. • La - The spirit of the ocean is the other fish swimming inside that oasis, the black one with the white spot on it. It is this spirit which enabled Aang to single-handedly defeat the fire nation during their attack on the Northern Water Tribe. This spirit saved the Northern Water Tribe from utter destruction, and has enabled benders like Master Pakku to head down south, and rebuild their sister tribe, the Southern Water Tribe. The water tribe greatly appreciates, and even idolizes, this spirit.
